Caramel Apple Spice Cake

  • 3/4 Cup softened butter

  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 Cup whole milk
  • 1 Bundt cake mix packet (included)
  • 1 Caramel packet (included)
  • 1 Large diced baking apple

Baking Instructions

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 325º F. Grease and flour Bundt pan.

  • 2. Mix contents of Bundt cake mix packet with butter in large bowl until crumbly. Add eggs and milk, mixing well on medium-high speed for 1 minute. Pour 3/4 of cake batter into prepared pan.
  • 3. Stir contents of caramel packet and apples into remaining batter, and pour into pan directly over first layer. Avoid touching the caramel batter to the sides of the pan.
  • 4. Bake 45-50 minutes or until golden and tester come out clean.
  • 5. Cool cake in pan 10 minutes before inverting onto serving plate. Cool completely before applying glaze. (Optional)
  • Makes 12 servings.

Caramel Icing

  • 1/2 Cup butter

  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1. Bring ingredients to boil in a sauce pan. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • 2. Pour over cooled cake.
