• 3 cups all purpose or unbleached flour

• 2 cups sugar
• 3 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
• 1 cup milk
• 3 eggs
• 3 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
• 1/2 cup quick cooling oats
• 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 cup applesauce

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease and flour 10 or 12 cup Bunmdt pan.
In large bowl combine first eight ingredients; beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Spoon
half of batterinto preparedp an. Stir remaining ingredients int oother half of batter; spoon over
batter in pan. Bake 55-65 minutes or until toothpipck inserted in center comes out clean. Cool
upright in pan for 30 minutes; invert onto serving plate, serve warm with ice cream. High Altitude-
